Refund policy

Golf Sim Genies (a DBA of Equipify Market LLC) wants every customer to feel confident in their purchase. This policy covers returns, cancellations, and refunds for orders placed through golfsimgenies.com.
Order acceptance
Placing an order does not guarantee acceptance. Your order is considered accepted only when we send a written order confirmation by email. Until then, we may decline or modify the order, for example due to inventory or pricing errors.
Return window
You may request a return within 30 calendar days of delivery for most items in their original, unused condition and original packaging. To start a return, email support@golfsimgenies.com with your order number and the item(s) you would like to return. We will reply within one business day with an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and shipping instructions. Returns sent without an RMA may be refused.
Customer responsibilities
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs on non-defective items.
- Items must be returned in their original packaging, unused, with all included accessories, manuals, and protective materials.
- For freight shipments, the customer must arrange and pay for return freight unless the item arrived damaged or defective.
Restocking fees
- A 25% restocking fee applies to opened freight items returned in non-defective condition.
- For Carl's Place custom-dimensioned products, a 30% restocking fee applies if cancellation is requested more than 24 hours after order placement.
- For Carl's Place items with unique or alternative finishings (or non-standard dimensions), a 50% restocking fee applies and the item is not eligible for return.
Custom and made-to-order items
Custom-configured items, including Carl's Place enclosures, impact screens, and built-in screen kits, are non-refundable once production begins. To cancel a custom order, contact us within 24 hours of placement and we will do our best to accommodate, though cancellation is not guaranteed.
Manufacturer Direct items
Some products ship directly from the manufacturer and are flagged as such on the product page. These items are subject to a 5% cancellation fee. If cancellation is no longer possible at the time of your request, the item is subject to the standard returns process.
Damaged or defective items
- For freight deliveries, inspect the shipment before signing. If damage is visible, note it on the Bill of Lading (BOL) and either refuse the shipment or accept it with a clearly written damage note. Damage not noted at delivery may not be claimable.
- Contact us within 24 hours of delivery at support@golfsimgenies.com with photos of the damage, the BOL note (if applicable), and your order number.
- We will coordinate with the supplier or carrier to file a claim and arrange a replacement, repair, or refund at no cost to you.
Defective items are handled under the manufacturer's warranty. We will help facilitate the warranty claim.
Refund timing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund.
Chargebacks
We ask that you contact us at support@golfsimgenies.com before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. Most issues can be resolved quickly, and we will work with you to find a fair solution. Chargebacks filed where a valid resolution was offered may be disputed with supporting documentation.
Items not eligible for return
- Custom-built or custom-dimensioned items (after production begins)
- Items returned without an RMA
- Items returned without original packaging
- Items showing signs of installation, use, or wear
- Carl's Place unique or non-standard-dimension items
