Every package on this page ships with the Carl's Place Premium Golf Impact Screen. It is the same screen material Carl's builds into their Pro and Curved enclosure kits, not the entry-level screen most package listings quietly include.

Enclosure depth and exact dimensions
This package uses the Carl's Place DIY C-Series enclosure. Depth is fixed at 5 ft on every size: it is not a selectable option, and it does not change between the 8 ft x 8 ft and the 9 ft x 12 ft. The size you pick above sets height and width only.
Two depth numbers matter, and they are not the same:

Depth, 5 ft. Screen to the front of the frame. This is the enclosure body itself.

Footprint depth, 6 ft. This is the floor space the enclosure actually consumes once the rear backset fitting is included. Measure your room against this number.

We round to 5 ft and 6 ft in the copy above for readability. The table shows the measured figures to the inch, use those if your room is tight.
Note the difference between listing size and actual size. The listing size is a friendly shorthand, not a measurement. An 8 ft x 8 ft enclosure is really an 8 ft 4 in x 8 ft 4 in frame with a 7 ft 2 in x 7 ft 2 in viewable screen. If your room is tight, plan against the outer frame and footprint depth columns above, never the listing size.
Clearance to allow, per Carl's Place: 2 to 3 inches above the outer frame height · 2 to 3 inches on each side (4 to 6 inches of total width) · roughly 8 inches minimum behind the screen for the rear fitting, 12 inches recommended so the material can stretch freely. Position the tee at least 10 feet from the screen for golfer safety and screen life.
